Description
Task 11.
1. Make a diagram of the electrolysis, enter the ionic composition of the solution in the electrode zones.
2. List the existing separately in solution particles able to oxidize at the anode and electrode potentials for hydroxide ion capacity to calculate the Nernst equation.
3. Compare the values \u200b\u200bof electrode potentials, to conclude what processes take place at the anode, and which of them takes place in the first place. Write down the equation of these processes.
4. Write out separately available cations and their electrode potentials for H + capacity to calculate the Nernst equation.
5. Compare the electrode potentials, to conclude what processes take place at the cathode, and which of them takes place in the first place. Write down these processes.
6. Describe how the pH in the anode and cathode zones during the electrolysis of the case, justify the answer.
7. According to the source of the weight or volume of the substance is converted at the electrodes, make a payment of missing values.
