Aero the Acro-Bat is a multiplatform video game in the platformer genre.
The game is a platformer and consists of several large levels, divided into smaller sub-levels.
The levels in the game are constructed using two-dimensional graphics and use horizontal scrolling. They are enemies and useful objects; in some places there are secret rooms and "conservation points". The main task at the levels is to perform some task (in particular, to find and collect a certain amount of things or save another character). Each level is given a limited time reserve. The game also contains logical elements - for example, you need to move the circus gun to make a more accurate jump.
On the gameplay the game has similarities with the series Sonic the Hedgehog. The character moves around the level, fights enemies and collects various items. After completing the task, it moves to the next level.
The hero of the game is Aero. He has the ability to fly (for some time) and planning. Up to inaccessible to the character platforms can be reached, using a trampoline or cannons.
Enemies in the game are quite diverse and numerous; these are henchmen of Ector (for example, clowns) and various monsters. As a rule, they do not have a large health reserve. A hero can destroy opponents by jumping from above. To destroy the hero himself, the opponents have two or three touches with him.
Useful items fill up the stock of points and increase the "health" of the character.
The number of collected items required to complete the level displays a special indicator at the top of the screen; next to him are the scorer of points and the number of lives of the hero. At the bottom there is an indicator of his health, as well as a time counter.
