In the game, the main character was Mara Jade, one of the most popular characters in the Star Wars universe. The story begins five years after the events of Jedi Knight. The game uses a much improved engine Jedi Knight, which added a lot of visual effects, like color lighting, as well as several new enemies and Forces. Mysteries of the Sith also added new multiplayer modes and several types of new weapons.
