The closed reservoir (Fig. 1) is divided into two parts by a flat partition having a square hole at depth h with side a closed by a lid. The pressure above the liquid in the left part of the reservoir is determined by the reading of the pressure gauge pm, the air pressure in the right part is determined by the reading of the vacuum gauge pv. Determine the strength of hydrostatic pressure on the cover.
