The crucified Jesus came to the threshold of death, but he was consumed by anger. He freed himself and brought down his vengeful fury on all unbelievers. Centuries have passed, and now an army of fanatical inquisitors protects the faith of the bloody church with fire and sword.

You are Mordimer Madderdin, an inquisitor in the service of God. You are sent to the city of Königstein, mired in sin, where something mysterious is happening. Unravel mysterious cases and investigate the crimes of apostates from the faith, while at the same time finding out the truth about the terrible evil that is trying to penetrate the world of the living from another dimension.
