The Saga exclusive set includes the new Saga faction, previously available only in the special edition of Total War: SHOGUN 2 - Sunset of the Samurai. This fraction can be selected in a single or network campaign, as well as in user and network battles.

For several centuries, the inhabitants of the Saga province traded with Europeans and acquired a lot of knowledge from them, which allowed them to quickly introduce advanced military technologies into their army.

The Saga Province is ruled by Motizuru Nabeshima, the last of the daimyo tokens that this land bestowed upon the land at the end of the Sengoku era. Nabeshima joined Tokugawa even when the outcome of the war was unclear, and therefore succeeded - unlike many others who recognized the new shogunate only after the battle of Sekigahara. Nabeshima’s possessions include the pearl of all Japan - the port of Nagasaki, through which overseas goods and know-how got into the country. Perhaps it was the acquaintance with the outside world with all its dangers that influenced the policy of Nabesim: they sided with the emperor.

At Nabehsim’s house, relations with foreign powers are established, and the level of trade in their possessions is much higher than in other provinces. In addition, experienced artillerymen, shipbuilders and industrialists are at home. It is curious that Motizuru Nabashima himself left his homeland and went to study in England.

Activation
