Content: В3.25-1.doc 47 kB
Product description
The molar light absorption coefficients of cobalt (II) and nickel (II) 8-hydroxyquinolines in the hydrochloric acid + acetone solution are equal at λeff = 365 nm εCo = 3530, εNi = 3230. At λeff = 700 nm, the light absorbs only cobalt oxyquinolinate εCo = 429. From 10.00 ml of the test solution, cobalt and nickel oxychlorinate precipitates were formed, dissolved in 25.00 ml hydrochloric acid + acetone, and the optical density was measured at 365 and 700 nm in a cuvette with a light-absorbent layer thickness of 1.0 cm. Calculate the concentration (μg / ml) of cobalt and nickel in solution if A365 = 0.820, A700 = 0.0 83.
