1. OBJECTIVES OF DISCIPLINE AND ITS PLACE IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS
It is difficult to overestimate the importance of higher mathematics in the system of knowledge of an educated person. Methods concepts of mathematics can simulate almost all observed, studied the phenomenon in human life. The severity of a mathematical theory is a classic example of constructing a logically perfect theory. The study of the mathematical theory of the very system of discipline of human thinking, instills self-logical thinking skills,
The purpose of the study of higher mathematics is to familiarize with the basic concepts, terms and techniques, obtaining skills through consistent and logical reasoning to construct mathematical proofs, to solve applied problems.
The main tasks in the course of higher mathematics is the development of methods of differential and integral calculus, differential equations apparatus, numerical and functional series, as well as familiarity with the various applications of these methods.
Knowledge acquired in the study course to help professionals in the mathematical modeling and analysis of economic phenomena.
This discipline is a continuation and deepening of the study of mathematics, which began at school. Knowledge of higher mathematics is the essential foundation for the study of subjects such as linear algebra, applied mathematics, operations research, optimization theory of economic systems, the theory of probability and mathematical statistics.
Studying discipline provides for lectures, practical classes, independent work of students. The lectures sets out the content of the program, taking into account the requirements established for a specialist in the qualifying characteristics.
Practical exercises are conducted in study groups in order to consolidate the theoretical foundations are contained in a lecture course, practical skills in the application of the theory in solving mathematical problems. Practical exercises for each topic held in accordance with the distribution plan time. Upon completion of the study of each topic held control work or intermediate test. At the end of the 1st semester of credit provided, and in the 2nd semester - exam.
